Over the weekend of August 8/9 at Snetterton in Norfolk, the Classic 2CV Racing Club is making a small piece of motor racing history. Not only is the club, with BARC, running the only 24hr motor race in the UK in 2009, but it is almost certainly the first race in the UK to have a world wide live webcast of the broadcast commentary, at www.2cvracing.org.uk.
Race partners Professional Motor Sport World Expo (www.professionalmotorsport-expo.com) Fine Print (www.lionpic.co.uk), Classic 2CV Racing Club, Crusader Vans, racer Nick Roads and MSV / Snetterton Circuit have all contributed to making the webcast happen. |

Entry forms for the 24 hour race for 2009 are now available If anybody requires an entry form also please either contact Steve Panas or Paul Robertson.
The entry fee is £1790, which represents an increase of 1.7% over last year. The price includes garage use for the entire meeting and Friday test sessions. These are likely to run as they did last year with two in the morning and two in the afternoon. Day membership remains at £30 per driver for the meeting. Please note that this year and ongoing that this will be required to be paid with the entry before the meeting. Your drivers will know whether they are members or not.
After the success of the post race entertainment and food we will be repeating this with just a £1 donation to the marshalls' fund required.
Completed entry forms shopuld be submitted with a minimum deposit of £400 as soon as possible. The balance will be required no later than July 28th. All entries received before May 31st (Cadwell meeting) will be entered into the free fuel draw. This year the winner will receive a refund of their fuel cost for the race and two further lucky winners will receive two half price tickets to the dinner dance.
