A whopping 28 cars took part in the lastest rounds of the 2CVParts.com Championship, held at the Croft circuit in North Yorkshire. Pole position for race 1 was taken by Nick Paton, with double 2011 champion Sammie Fritchley joining him on the front row. In the race, Paton managed to break away and was joined by Philip Myatt and Alec Graham, both of whom were in contention to take the 2012 title.
With two corners to go, Graham tried to get past Paton for 2nd, but in his attempt to defend from the attack, Paton collided with Myatt in front, gifting the win to Graham. Paton failed to finish, whilst Myatt rejoined to finish 4th, behind Matthew Hollis and Steve Panas.
Race 2 saw Simon Clarke on pole position ahead of his Gadget teammate Peter Rundle. After losing the lead on the run down to the first corner, Clarke re-passed Rundle halfway around lap 1 and was never headed again, eventually winning the race by over 5 seconds.
2nd place went to Alec Graham, who had fought through brilliantly from 12th on the grid, which was enough to take the 2012 2CVParts.com Championship. The final podium position was taken by Ainslie Bousfield, who passed Rundle on the last lap.
