Graham cleans up at Croft
Tuesday, 07 May 2013 17:01

Reigning ECAS 2CVParts.com Champion Alec Graham dragged himself back into the title hunt with back-to-back pole positions and victories at Croft.  Leading from the front he managed to fend off the attack of Pete Sparrow in race 1 to win by just 0.3 seconds, with Ainslie Bousfield escaping the chasing pack on the last lap to take 3rd place.

Race 2 saw Graham at the front again, this time fighting with Peter Rundle and Sammie Fritchley.  Despite having both of them right on his tail all race, he was never headed and duly took the win from Rundle and Fritchley by half a second.  It was a bad race for then Championship leader Steve Panas, who failed to finish after a collision with Paul Rowland, which now leaves Sparrow in the Championship lead just ahead of Fritchley and Graham.

The next race is a non-championship 30 minute event at Mallory Park in Leicestershire, once again LIVE on Motors TV (Sky Channel 447 (from May 9th), Virgin Channel 545). Don't miss it!
